Jesse Harold “Butch” Waldrop, age 75 of Cumberland City, passed away on Monday, December 24, 2018 at Houston County Community Hospital. He was born on March 16, 1943 in Fayetteville, TN to Ather and Mary Evelyn Griggs Waldrop. Jesse is preceded in death by his parents and brothers; Roy Clifton Waldrop and Billy Wayne Waldrop.

He is survived by his wife; Reba McGinnis Waldrop; son, Jesse R Waldrop; daughter, Joetta Waldrop; sister, Dorothy “Dolly” Bell; and grandson, Niklas Mueller. Jesse was a retired boilermaker with the TVA and was a member of Boilermaker Local #455. In keeping with Jesse’s wishes, he will be cremated and no services are to be held.
