Jessica Mahoney, 31, of Torrington died March 1, 2019 after an extended illness. Born in Torington, December 9, 1987 daughter of Richard and Sharon (Munroe) Mahoney, she attended Torrington schools, Explorations Charter School, and Northwest Connecticut Community College. She had worked in many area restaurants including Infinity Hall and Woodcreek Restaurant and Pub in Norfolk.

She was active in Soccer including Torrington Youth Soccer and Travel Soccer, PAL and Travel Basketball and Steve Blass Baseball League. She loved music, family, especially nephews Rylan and Hunter, fishing, kayaking, her paddleboard, friends, and traveling. She will be missed by all who knew her.

In addition to her parents, she leaves a sister Crystal Mahoney, brother David Rae, nephews Rylan and Hunter Jacques, and longtime partner Michael McCarthy. A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday May 18, starting at 1:00 PM at Massar Park 112 Rock Hall Rd Colebrook CT. on line memorials www.
