Jesus Jose “Joe” Sublasky May 13, 1944 – February 12, 2019 Jesus Jose “Joe” Sublasky, 74, went to be with the Lord on February 12, 2019 surrounded by his family in El Paso, Texas. Joe was born in Fabens, Texas to Tony and Virginia Sublasky. He earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Agriculture from NMSU.

Joe served as a law enforcement officer for the State of Arizona and retired as Lieutenant after 25 years of service. He loved fishing, camping and gardening. He is survived by his children: Sandra (Mark) Castillo Sr., Ann Sublasky, Joe (Michelle) Sublasky, Terrie (Steven) Gallegos Sr., and Tomas Sublasky; twelve grandchildren and two great grandchildren.

He will also be missed by his siblings: Carrie Sorg, Tony (Lucy) Sublasky, Gloria (Bill) Cole, Benjamin Sublasky, Ruth (Tom) Stockard, David (Ofelia) Sublasky, and Virginia (Jimmy) Godbey. He was preceded in death by his parents, Tony and Virginia Sublasky; brothers, Louie Vernium, Isidro Perez and Nieves Sublasky. Pastor Mark Castillo will officiate services.

Viewing will be held Thursday, February 14, 2019 from 5:00pm to 7:00pm with prayer service at 7:00pm at Mt. Carmel Funeral Home. Funeral service will be Friday, February 15, 2019 at 9:00am at Mt.

Carmel Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Evergreen East Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers are: Anthony Vernium, Mark Castillo Jr., Steven Gallegos Jr., Zach Gallegos, Nicolas Castillo, Josh Sublasky and honorary pallbearers include: Tom Stochard, Bill Cole, Steven Gallegos Sr., and Gabriel Gallegos.
