Obituary for Gilberto Pizana Gilberto “Chico” Pizana, age 79, passed away on Friday, February 8, 2019. He was born in Dallas, Texas to Joe and Inez Pizana on Friday, January 26, 1940. Chico grew up in the Little Mexico area of Dallas but had been a resident of Irving for 41 years.

He enjoyed going to swap meets, car shows, and loved classic cars and once he rebuilt a 58 Impala. Chico had a green thumb and had a connection with plants and found some of his happiest times when he was gardening. He is preceded in death by his parents, his loving wife of over 25 years Connie Pizana, brothers Tony and Joe aka Diablo, and his sisters Blanch and Faye.

Left to cherish his memory are daughter Marci Pizana Gilger and husband Michael; daughter Cathy Cline and husband Matt; grandchildren Heather Passons, Sam Cline and Cierra Kenney; sister Aurora “Goya” Gutierrez along with numerous extended family and loving friends.
