Jil C. Silva, 80, of Fall River, husband of Natalie (Costa) Silva, passed away Tuesday, February 12, 2019. Born in Fenas De Luz, St. Michael, Azores, he was a Veteran of the US Army, 101st Airborne. A member of Local Union 610, he was a laborer for various construction companies.

He was a member of Our Lady of Light Band Club and the Hut Pigeon Club. Jil enjoyed wine making and New England Sports. Besides his wife of 52 years, he leaves two children, Mark Silva and his wife Susan and Karen Silva and her fiancé Gerald Ayotte all of Fall River; five grandchildren, Kwin, Lynsie, Julia, Tammy and Mandy; one great-grandson, Zaidhyn Parson and many nieces and nephews.

He was the brother of the late Berta Rodrigues and Dolores Silva and the son of the late Jil C. and Frances (Costa) Silva. His funeral service will be held Tuesday at 10:00 AM at the Auclair Funeral Home, 690 So. Main St., Fall River.

Interment, Notre Dame Cemetery. A visitation will be held Monday from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM. Online guest book at AuclairFuneralHome.com.
