Jill Kathleen Groves went to be with the Lord on September 6, 2018, surrounded by her loving family. Jill entered this world in St. Louis, Missouri on January 8, 1942; the beloved daughter of John and Josephine Houlihan. She graduated from Ursuline Academy in Dallas and Marquette University, where she majored in English.

Jill always had a love of the Catholic Church. She was a parishioner of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church in Plano from 1975 until her passing. She was always volunteering at church and headed up Novena for a long time.

She was extremely hard working and flourished in the Plano real estate market for 35 years. Jill was a devoted mother to her two daughters. She was always there to provide unconditional love and wise counsel.

She loved and adored her grandchildren. Besides the Lord, her family was the most important thing in her life. She also enjoyed many friendships.

Her friends enjoyed her company and her compassion. Jill Kathleen Groves leaves behind her daughter Ann Delafuente and her husband, Michael; daughter, Linda Asseff; grandchildren Amanda Asseff, Shyann Delafuente and Mary Delafuente; brother, John Jack Houlihan IV; and sister Barbara Blanc. She joins in heaven, her parents, John and Josephine Houlihan.

Jill will be dearly missed by her family and friends.
