Jimmie Lee Clemons Jr., 63, of Asheville died peacefully on Saturday, December 8, 2018 at the Charles George VA Medical Center in Asheville, North Carolina. Jimmie was born in Miami, Florida on May 7, 1955. He proudly served in the U.S. Navy between 1972 and 1974.

Following the Navy, he attended Isothermal Community College where he earned his associate degree in Business Administration. After earning his degree, Jimmie went on to become an autobody man for over 28 years owning two auto body shops. Jimmie is predeceased by his father, Jimmie Lee Clemons Sr., and mother, Gertrude Krisel Clemons.

Jimmie is survived by sister, Linda Basiewicz, brother, Joseph Clemons, son, Jason Clemons, and his wife, Dora, son, James Clemons, and his wife, Vanessa, and five grandchildren. A funeral service will be held at the Western Carolina State Veteran’s Cemetery in Black Mountain, North Carolina on Thursday, December 13, 2018 at noon. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Disabled American Veterans in memory of Jimmie.
