A homegoing celebration for Jimmiel Leigh Spillman of Tampa, Florida who passed away on Tuesday, January 8, 2019 will be held Saturday, January 19th, 2:00 p.m. at The Center for Manifestation, 3102 E. Lake Ave. , Apostle Mark T. Jones, pastor, Rev. Antonio Hawkins, pastor of Exciting Faith Alive Church, officiating.
The interment will be held in Rest Haven Memorial Park Cemetery. Jimmiel Leigh Spillman was born in Tampa, Florida on October 20, 1987 to the parents of Jimmy Lee Spillman and Varonte Bradley. Jimmiel attended the local schools of Hillsborough County and graduated from Chamberlain High School.
During Jimmiel’s school years she was a member of Student Advisory Council and Future Business Leaders of America. Jimmiel was also a member of Exciting Faith Alive Church, where Rev. Antonio Hawkins is the pastor.
Jimmiel was an entrepreneur and previously owned Starr Studded lace boutique and currently Luxe Laced Boutique. She was also a talented well-known rapper. Her entire life was her 6 beautiful children.
She enjoyed Sunday outings, shopping and quality time with her family. Jimmiel was preceded in death by her maternal side, great-grandmother, Vashti Fordoms, Rose Bradley and great-grandfathers, Matthew Fordoms and Leroy Bradley; aunt, Emogene Smith; uncles, Josh Spillman, Sylvester Fordoms, Hiram Fordoms and Rudolph Fordoms; paternal side great-grandmother, Nelly West; grandparents, Bobby Lee Perry and Ina Spillman Perry; great-grandparents, George Spillman and Athiea Spillman; her best-friend, Melissa. Jimmiel leaves to cherish her precious memories with her children father, Gregory B. Engram Sr.; children; Yahance Franklin, Gregory Engram Jr., Chelsea Engram, Musik Engram, Geon Brown and Gino Brown; mother, Varonte Bradley; father, Jimmy Spillman; sisters, Stara Brown (Taft), Jimeka Spillman, Qu’aisha Smith-Russ (Cleveland), Kiara Spillman-Hundley (Jerry), Shante Spillman, Jamesia Spillman and Kiante Spillman; brothers; Jimmy Lee Spillman, Jr. and Jimmy Lee Spillman III .
She was loved and adored by grandparents, Esther Billups and Herman Nails. Immensely loved by nephews and nieces, William Lillie, Ta’vion Lillie, Rajada Bostick, Ja’Nyla Fielder, Breylin Fielder, Jaylen Johnson, Jaylen Hundley, Jimmy Lee Spillman, Jimmy Lee Spillman IV and Harmony Taylor; uncles, Tavares Billups, LaGee Davis, Derrick Spillman (LaBray) and Terrance Spillman aunts, Chevette Spillman Moore (Kenny Moore) and Andrea Spillman; bestfriend, Tamikey Gaskin; extended sisters, Ja’nia Smith, Krystana Smith, Chrishana Smith, Chelsea Schon, Teja Brown, Te’keja Brown and Veronica Johnson; loving extended mothers; Yolanda Baker (Gregory) and Carol Franklin; special bond, Arthur Franklin, Alecia Baker, Jackie Kelly, Michelle Morrell-Session and Alexander Oliver; and a host of sorrowing great-aunts and uncles, cousins, friends, clients, god-sisters and brothers and extended family. The visitation will be held at Aikens Funeral Home on Friday, January 18th from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. The family will receive friends from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. The family and friends are asked to meet at the church on Saturday for the service.
