OBITUARY Jimmy Denton April 6, 1954 – October 20, 2018 Jimmy Clyde Denton, 64, passed away Saturday, October 20, 2018 in Wichita Falls, Texas. Memorial services will be held at 1 PM Saturday, October 27, 2018 in the chapel at Dutton Funeral Home in Iowa Park, Texas. Jimmy was born April 6, 1954 in Hobbs, New Mexico to Henry Leon and Doris Janet (Fowler) Denton.

He married Valerie Zaremba on March 9, 1974 in Malden, Massachusetts. He served his country during the Vietnam era in the United States Navy. Jimmy enjoyed coaching kids baseball and soccer in Iowa Park for many years.

Surviving relatives include his wife, Valerie Denton of Iowa Park; three children, Michael Denton of Burkburnett, Texas; Tami Denton of Iowa Park; and Scott Denton of Holland, Michigan; thirteen grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; one brother, Henry Leon Denton, Jr. of Wisconsin; one sister, Connie Denton of Iowa Park; and several nieces.
