OBITUARY Billy Mashburn November 12, 1927 – November 15, 2018 Play Tribute Movie Billy Charles Mashburn, 91, of Iowa Park, passed away on Thursday, November 15, 2018 in Iowa Park. He was born on November 12, 1927 in Electra, TX to the late Harvey Mashburn and Juanita Balch Mashburn. On September 17, 1955 he married Tommie Kay Buckholt in Quanah, TX.

She preceded him death in 2016. Billy served his country in the U.S. Navy and U.S. Army during WW II and the Korean War. He worked in civil service at Sheppard Air Force Base and was a member of First United Methodist Church in Iowa Park.

He was a member of the Iowa Park Masonic Lodge for 58 years and was a member of the Iowa Park Eastern Star. Billy also was the former director of the local Ministerial Alliance for several years. He is survived by four children, Bruce Mashburn and wife Maureen of Chandler, TX, Neta Hearne and husband Gary of Arlington, TX, Paula Bodine of Iowa Park and Deanna Yeakley and husband Alton of Iowa Park; 11 grandchildren, Brian, Diane, Stephanie, Stephen, Kendall, Marka, Nicholas, Clayton, Joshua, Jacob and Sara.

Funeral services will be 10:00 AM Monday, November 19, 2018 at the First United Methodist Church in Iowa Park with Jeffrey Pehl and Don Pelican officiating. Burial will follow at Quanah Cemetery under the direction of Dutton Funeral Home. Online condolences can be made at www.
