Jimmy’s Obituary Mr. Jimmy McDaniel, age 75, of Thomaston, died Monday, February 4, 2019, at Upson Regional Medical Center. Mr. McDaniel was born on January 13, 1944, in Upson County GA, to the late Joel Frank McDaniel and Daisy Florette Parker McDaniel. Mr. McDaniel is a retired railroad worker.

He is survived by his wife Margie McDaniel; daughter Dorothy (Jesse) Turner and preceded in death by his daughter Darlene Turner. Other survivors are his brother, Joel (Billie Ann) McDaniel, sisters, Edna Barker, Agnes (Tillman) Hanson; grandchildren, Jessica (Shaun) Wilson, Paige Tuner, Lacy (Shane) Barfield, Holly-Ann (Kyle) Phillips, Deidre (Joey) Desnoyer, Randall Tuner, and ten great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by Bennie Ray McDaniel, Travis McDaniel, James McDaniel, Roy McDaniel, Fred McDaniel, Bobby McDaniel, Bessie Moore, Barbara Kent, Mary Ann McDaniel.

Family will receive friends Wednesday, February 6, 2019 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Coggins Funeral Home. Memorial Services will be held Saturday February 9, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. at The Flint River Outdoor Center. In Lieu of flowers make donations to the Jimmy McDaniel fund at 321 Hannah’s Mill Road Thomaston, GA.
