Jimmy Underwood 73, of Nederland, Texas passed away on Saturday, March 2, 2019. He was born in Seymour, Texas on October 16, 1945 to the late, R.J. Underwood and Amy Boatman Underwood. Jimmy served as a security guard for Motiva for 30 years, and was also a former police officer in both Nederland and Port Arthur.

He also served as a member of the Masonic Lodge of Nederland. Those left to cherish Jimmy’s memory are his wife, Leona Underwood of Nederland; his sons, Ronnie Underwood, and his wife Dayna, of Bridge City, and Jimmy Underwood, and his wife Joni, of Nederland; his grandchildren, Merissa Stutes, Randy Underwood, Savanna Porter, Brandon Lovelace, and Blake Lovelace; his great-grandchildren, Tucker Harden, Brinlee Lovelace and Sara Scott; and his sisters, Barbara Shew and Zola Enger. He is preceded in death by his parents.
