Jo Ann Briggs, 83, of Terrell went to be with her Lord and Savior on Thursday September 27, 2018 in Rowlett. Funeral services celebrating Jo Ann’s life will be held 10:30 A.M. on Tuesday, October 2, 2018 at Ingram Funeral Home in Quinlan with Judge Hershey Barnett officiating. Interment will be immediately following service at Lone Star Cemetery in Point.

Visitation will be held from 6:00-8:00 P.M. on Monday, October 1, 2018. Jo Ann was born on March 1, 1935 to the late Lester and Rosie Moss of Merritt, Texas and attended school in Merritt, graduating in 1953. She was a loving hardworking mother and always put her family first.

She loved spending time with her family, especially her grandkids as she had pictures displayed all over her home. She was an avid bowler and loved searching her genealogy and history of her family roots. She is loved and will be missed by her son Randy Briggs and wife Lana of Quinlan; daughter Vicki Summers and husband David of Terrell; brothers Jack Moss and Ronnie Moss, deceased; sisters Iva Nell Thomason and Betty Carolyn Heath, deceased; grandchildren Randall Briggs Jr., Michael Summers, Ryan Summers, Shawn Briggs and Heather Summers; great-grandchildren Landon Summers, Ashlynn Briggs, Kira Briggs, Shavell Briggs and Kinzlee Summers; as well as multiple nieces, nephews and cousins.
