Obituary for Jo Ann Mays Jo Ann Mays, 80 of Lawton, OK passed away on Thursday, October 25, 2018. She was born on February 8, 1938 in Bokchito, OK to Leslie and Exie Burgess. Jo Ann was living in Bokchito before moving to Lawton about 10 years ago.

She was of the Baptsist faith and a homemaker too. She enjoyed the casino, country music and dancing. Jo Ann was preceded in death by her parents, two sons; Billy and David Mays, two brothers; Buford and J.D. Burgess, and two sisters; Retha Atkinson and Dessie Jamison.

Jo Ann is survived by her daughters; Mary Musgrove of Bokchito, OK and Betty Patton and husband Darrell of Lawton, OK, grandson Michael Musgrove of Bokchito, OK, granddaughters Danielle Kelsay of Bokchito, OK and Jessica Patton of Norman, OK, great granddaughter Montana Milam of Bokchito, OK, father of the children Billy Mays of Bokchito, OK and several nieces and nephews. Memorial Service will be held on Sunday, November 4, 2018 at 2:00 PM at Brown’s Funeral Service Chapel. Condolences can be sent to www.
