Joan M. Marozsan, (nee-Plato), 81, of LaGrange passed away Sunday June 24, 2018 at Brighton Gardens in Westlake following a lengthy battle with Alzheimer’s disease. She was born August 21, 1936 in Elyria and was a lifelong area resident. Joan was a member of Our Lady Queen of Peace Catholic church in Grafton and the Elyria United Polish Club Ladies Auxiliary and enjoyed working outdoors and spending time with her grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband Peter in 2011, sister, Antonette Harrell and brothers, Leo and Carl Plato. The family will receive friends Wednesday 4:00-7:00 p.m. at the Laubenthal-Mercado Funeral Home and Cremation Service 38475 Chestnut Ridge Rd.

(at State Rt. 57), Elyria. A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:00 a.m. Thursday June 28, 2018 at Our Lady Queen of Peace Church 708 Erie St., Grafton.
