Joan’s Obituary Joan Price 83, of Dumas, AR passed away February 23, 2019 in Dumas. She was born March 10, 1935 in Monticello, AR to the late Dallas and Irene Goss Calhoun. Joan was preceded in death by her parents, two sisters, Jean Johnson and Irene Brewer and two brothers, Sonny Boy Lansdell and Billy Ray Warren.

Joan was a member of First Baptist Church in Gould, member of Women Sunday School Class, Youth Director in Bus Ministry, she was clerk at Wells Bayou and Garrett Bridge Water Association, member of DMA at Methodist Church in Dumas and was a homemaker and very well known for her fried okra. Joan is survived by her husband of 65 wonderful years Jerry Price of Dumas, AR, one son: Kenny (Mandy) Price of Dumas, AR and one daughter: Jerri Ann (Steve) Whaley, Sr. of Star City, AR, one sister:, Margie Noland of North Little Rock, AR, four grandchildren: Brandy Moya, Jilian Byrd, Josh Price and Autumn Bridewell and four great grandchildren: Madison Griffin, John Paul Moya, Jr., Blakelee Byrd and Jack Byrd Visitation will be 1:00pm Tuesday, February 26, 2019 with service immediately following at 2:00pm both at First Baptist Church in Gould, AR with Rev. Michael Ault and Rev.
