Joan S. Stout, age 80, of Huntingburg, passed away at 5:43 a.m., on Sunday, September 23, 2018, at The Waters of Huntingburg. She was born June 23, 1938, in Camden, New Jersey to Howard S. and Ann (Wright) Straub; and married Hugh Gibson Stout in 1958, in New Jersey. Joan was a homemaker; enjoyed gardening, decorating and the outdoors; was an avid bowler; and loved cats.

She was preceded in death by her husband; and twelve siblings.
