William T. Bridge, age 91, of Holland, passed away at 3:45 p.m., on Tuesday, September 18, 2018, at the Northwood Retirement Community in Jasper. He was born September 11, 1927, in Latrobe, Pennsylvania to William G. and Esther R. (Pfiester) Bridge; and married Mildred Mae Weldon on November 6, 1948, at Holy Name Catholic Church in Birmingham, Michigan. He was a retired supervisor with Michigan Bell Telephone Company. Bill was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Huntingburg and the Telephone Pioneers of America; and enjoyed woodworking. He was preceded in death by his wife, Mildred Mae Bridge, who died June 13, 2017; and one son, Lawrence Bridge.

He is survived by seven children, Lynn Allison of Iowa, Nanette (John) Hankins of Old Fort, North Carolina, Deborah (Joseph) Semifero of Adrian, Michigan, William Lee Bridge of Holland, Indiana, Steven (Joanne) Bridge of Jacksonville, Florida, Joel Bridge of Radcliff, Kentucky, and Joanne Kennard of White Lake, Michigan; two sisters, Anne Baddour of Belmont, Massachusetts and Nancy Todd of La Belle, Florida; and by grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren. Funeral services for William Bridge will be held at 1:00 p.m., E.D.T., Saturday afternoon, September 22, 2018, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Huntingburg with burial to follow at St. Mary’s Cemetery. The funeral Mass will be celebrated by Rev.

Ryan Hilderbrand. Military graveside rites will be conducted by the V.F.W. Post #2366 Memorial Detail. Friends may call for visitation at the Nass & Son Funeral Home in Huntingburg from 2:00-8:00 p.m., on Friday.
