Joan Woolson, age 87 of Boone, died at her home on Monday, February 25, 2019. A private family graveside service and burial, will be held Friday, March 1, 2019 in the Linwood Park Cemetery. There will be no visitation hours.

Joan (Olson) Woolson, was born in Omaha, Nebraska on August 16, 1931, the daughter of Wilbur and Josephine (Jackson) Olson. She graduated from Boone High School in 1949 and graduated from Waldorf College in Forest City, Iowa, in 1952.
