Joanne Kessinger, 70, of Indianapolis, IN Joanne was born in Portland, TN on April 15, 1948, a daughter of the late Opal Lee Lois Dobbs and Joe Perdue. Joanne was also preceded in death by her husband, Albert E. Kessinger; grandson, Eddie L. Bell Jr., as well as, Sue Hampton and Beonka Kessinger. Joanne was survived by her son, Albert Kessinger Jr,; stepson, Charles Kessinger; daughters, Lenora (Rodney) Majors, Anna (Steve) Nigh, Betty (Jason) Welborn, Patty (Richard) Moit; stepdaughter, Mary Sweeney; and 22 grandchildren.

. Joanne retired from the service industry. She enjoyed crossword puzzles while drinking her coffee and smoking her cigarettes.

There are no services at this time. Burial will be at Washington Park East Cemetery. Arrangements are being handled by Bell Mortuary & Crematory, Royster-Askin-Sandrock Chapel, 2310 W Washington Street, Indianapolis, IN 46222.
