Obituary for Joaquin Farinas Joaquin Farinas peacefully entered into eternal rest on Friday, June 1, 2018 at the age of 88. Beloved husband of Nora Isabel Farinas. Son of the late Manuel Farinas and Eliza Farinas.

Father of Janina Farinas, Edwardo Farinas, Joaquin Farinas, Jr., Nora Farinas and Elisa Farinas. Son-in-law of Dolores Cordoba. Joaquin is survived by 7 grandchildren, 1 great grandchild and many nieces and nephews.

He loved cooking and serving people who loved good food. He was born in Bo, Spain and was a resident of Gretna, LA. Family and friends are invited to attend the visitation at MOTHE FUNERAL HOME, 2100 Westbank Expressway, Harvey, LA on Saturday, June 9, 2018 from 11AM until 1PM.

Funeral Services will be held at the funeral home on Saturday at 1PM. Interment will be in Westlawn Memorial Park Cemetery, Gretna, LA. Family and friends may offer condolences at www.
