Joe Anne Jones, 75, of Tallahassee, passed away on Friday, February 08, 2019, at Tallahassee Memorial HealthCare. A daughter of the late U.D. and Trenton Woodard Jones, she was born in Tallahassee on December 5, 1943. Also preceding her in death is a brother, Calvin Jones.

She was a contract representative with the State of Florida, Department of Community Affairs, was of the Baptist faith, and enjoyed crocheting, knitting, arts and crafts and also loved cats. She is survived by her siblings, Mitchell Eugene Jones (wife, Carolyn), Linda Allen (husband, Roger), Paula Hughes, Charles Jones (wife, Linda) and Louise Jones. Also surviving are numerous nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends from 10:00 until 11:00 AM, Tuesday, February 12, 2019, at Abbey Funeral Home, with the funeral service beginning at 11:00 AM in the chapel. Interment will follow at Tallahassee Memory Gardens. Online condolences may be expressed at www.
