Joe Henry Liss, 70, of Eureka, MT passed away at his home on July 12, 2018. Joe was born October 20, 1947 in Deadwood, SD to Steve & Annie (Williams) Liss. Joe grew up in the Powder River Breaks on a ranch near Ekalaka, MT.

Joe was a cowboy and a well driller, drilling for oil, gold and water. Joe loved to hunt moose and elk and also enjoyed fishing and riding his cutting horse in competition. Joe is survived by his wife Shauna Cooper and children that he raised as his own Wesley Cooper and Lynna Cooper; daughter Ronda Bonsell (Doug); grandchildren Falcon, Sheena, Terrell, Leva Jo, Royce, Kyleigh, Grafton, Brennen; 5 great grandchildren; brothers Ted Liss (Dorothy); Harry Liss (Kathy); and Bob Liss.

Joe was preceded in death by his parents Steve & Annie Liss and his grandson Destry Bonsell. Graveside services were held Tuesday July 17, 2018 at 10:00 am at the Tobacco Valley Cemetery. Arrangements are under the care of Schnackenberg Funeral Home of Eureka, MT.
