Joe “Habanero” Rogers, 66, of Groves, Texas passed away Sunday, February 3, 2019. He was born November 11, 1952 in Port Arthur, Texas to Lenwood Rudolph Rogers and Betty Jo Rains Rogers. Joe had lived in Groves for 23 years and was retired from Exxon Mobil as an Installation Mechanic and Pipefitter after 28 years of service.

A visitation for family and friends will be Thursday, February 7, 2019 beginning at 5:00 p.m. with a memorial service to follow at 6:00 p.m. at Levingston Funeral Home in Groves. Joe is survived by four daughters, Eisha Killian and husband Greg of Beaumont, Sara Marchand and husband Justice of Nederland, Alison Nutt and husband Donald of Groves, and Brooke Rogers of Nederland, son, Nicholas Rogers of Groves, longtime girlfriend, Jan Comeaux of Groves, step mother, Charlotte Rogers of Colmesneil, sister, Patricia Fox and husband Gary of Beauxart Gardens, six grandchildren, Tristan Killian, Taylor Nutt, Lilian Nutt, Justice Marchand, Parker Marchand, and Noam Droddy, niece, Amanda Ravey and nephew, Philip Fox.
