Burial will follow at Ferriday Cemetery under the direction of Concordia Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 10:00 until service time on Saturday. Mr. Johnson was born on Jan.

17, 1954, in Ferriday, LA, the son of David Lawrence and Elsie Johnson. Joe was preceded in death by his parents; one son, Kenon Johnson; four brothers, Robert Lawrence, Willie Lawrence, Eddie Lawrence, Roy Warren; three sisters, Rosie Lawrence, Shirley Lawrence, Geraldine Lawrence. Survivors include his son, Joe Johnson, Jr. (Patricia); two daughters, Lakeisha Robinson, Kishanna Robinson, all of New Orleans, LA; three brothers, Lavell Warren, Ferriday, LA, Herman Johnson (Deonka), Westwego, LA, Johnny Lawrence, Vicksburg, MS; three sisters, Bertha Johnson, Daisy Kaiser, both of Vicksburg, MS, Mary Ann Bowser, Swanson, NC; one aunt, Ruby Lee Johnson, Ferriday, LA; a special niece, Joyce Gaines, Ferriday, LA; thirteen grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and a host of other nieces, nephews, cousins, caregivers and friends.
