Joe’s Obituary Joe Louis Garza, 66, of Blanco passed away peacefully Monday, February 4, 2019, at his residence in Blanco surrounded by his loving family. Joe was born on November 2, 1952 in East Chicago, Illinois to Maria Rita Nunez Garza and Eusebio Garza. He was the owner and operator of the Swiss Lodge in Blanco for sixteen years.

Joe loved to collect coins, reading a good mystery book by James Patterson and spending time with his family; he loved family gatherings that included cooking and eating food with his loved ones. He will be missed by all who loved and knew him. Survivors include his wife, Rosa Yanez Garza of Blanco; children, Carmen Mauricio and her husband Ferdinandes, Joe Garza, Richard Garza and Michael Garza all of Blanco; sister, Rosemary Campuzano; brothers, David Garza and Daniel Garza; his one and only grandchild, Tyler Sedano.

Joe was preceded in death by his parents; brothers and sisters, Esmerelda Ramirez, Eusebio Garza, Jr. Samuel Garza and Griselda Garza. A visitation will take place from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Friday, February 15, 2019, at Crofts-Crow Funeral Home in Blanco. A Funeral service will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, February 16, 2019, at Crofts-Crow Funeral Home in Blanco with burial to follow at Blanco Historic Cemetery.
