OBITUARY Joe Swarts Jr. November 8, 1948 – October 2, 2018 JOSEPH ANDREW “JOE” SWARTS, JR. Joe Swarts, Jr. 69, Kansas City, passed away Oct. 2, 2018.

Visitation is Monday, Oct. 8 from 10:30 – 12:00 at McGilley Antioch Chapel, 3325 NE Vivion Road, Kansas City, MO. Celebration of Life at 12:00 Noon at the same location, burial to follow at Mount Calvary Cemetery, 1150 N. 38th Street, Kansas City, KS.

Joe was born Nov. 8, 1948 in Kansas City, KS to Joseph and Thelma (Osborn) Swarts. He was an Eagle Scout and served in the US Army.

He then returned to Kansas City and worked in auto parts distribution. He was passionate about Nascar and the Kansas Jayhawks. Joe is preceded in death by his parents, and a nephew, Sean Feeney.

Survivors include his daughter, Dawn Michelle Swarts; sister Betti Feeney, brothers Thomas (Patty) Swarts, Michael (Michele) Swarts and Robert Swarts; grandchildren Canaan and Jeremiah; and great-granddaughter Autumn, as well as numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
