OBITUARY Ona “Jean” Harvey December 14, 1924 – October 1, 2018 Ona “Jean” Harvey, 93, Overland Park, Kansas, passed away Monday October 1, 2018. The family will receive friends from 10:00am until 11:00am, Saturday, October 6 at Trinity Lutheran Church, 5601 West 62nd Street, Mission, Kansas, followed by a funeral service at 11:00am. Entombment will be in the Faith Mausoleum at Mount Moriah Cemetery South, 10507 Holmes Road, Kansas City, Missouri.

Memorial contributions may be made to Trinity Lutheran Church. Jean was born December 14, 1924 at Burwell, Nebraska to Charles and Fannie (Aden) Houser. A licensed cosmetologist, she was a practicing beautician for many years.

She was then employed by Burke, Inc’s advertising and Medicare departments for 11 years before retiring in 1987. A long-time member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Jean enjoyed playing the organ, traveling, bridge parties with friends, and spending time with her family. Jean was preceded in death by her parents, siblings, and beloved husband of 62 years, John.

She is survived by her two children, daughter Judi Gibbens of Colorado Springs, Colorado and son Charles Harvey and wife Amy of Overland Park, Kansas, four grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, and six great-great grandchildren.
