Obituary for Joe Wilson Joe Wilson, age 61, passed away Wednesday, May 16, 2018, after being diagnosed with advanced cancer four weeks earlier. Joe was born in Dallas, Texas, on February 13, 1957, and was a lifelong Irving resident. He played soccer for over 30 years and had many friends in the sport.

He was a graduate of MacArthur High School and Texas Tech University. He enjoyed estate and garage sales and especially liked collecting clocks. He was devoted to his blind cat, Miss Kitty.

Left to cherish his memory are his parents Troy and Mozelle Wilson; his companion Linda Ramsey; his brother Jay Wilson; his sister and brother-in-law Jane and Randy Cantrell; his niece Catherine and her husband Art Schmidt; and great nephews Roman and Axel Schmidt. A visitation will be held from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Monday, May 21, 2018, at Brown’s Memorial Funeral Home, 707 North MacArthur Blvd, Irving, Texas, 75061. A private inurnment will be scheduled at a later date.
