In her younger years, Abbie worked for GTE and was the Executive Secretary to the President. She enjoyed spending time with family, sewing, and doing crossword puzzles. Abbie is preceded in death by her parents; son Forrest D. Morgan Jr. (2011); and brother Vernnon Morgan (2016).

Left to cherish her memory are her husband of 46 years, Forrest D. Morgan and her brother-in-law Stan Morgan and wife Debra.
