Obituary for Vicky Howenstien (Turner) Vicky Howenstein, age 59, died peacefully on Tuesday, July 10, 2018. She was born in Denton, Texas to Douglas and Jeanette (Miller) Turner on August 6, 1958. Vicky enjoyed traveling, cooking for and spending time with her family, including her time as a Tiger Cub den leader for the Cub Scouts.

She was a nurturing, caring and loving wife, mother, sister, daughter and friend and will be deeply missed by all who knew her. Left to cherish her memory are her parents Douglas and Jeanette; husband of 28 years, Mike Howenstein; sons Adam Sage and Mark Howenstein; brother Mike Turner and wife Katherine; sister Sherri Boudreaux and husband Kevin along with numerous extended family and loving friends. The family request memorial donations to the American Cancer Society at www.
