Obituary for Bobbie Robins (Smith) Bobbie Robins, age 87, died peacefully on Sunday, September 9, 2018. She was born in Paris, Texas to Wesley Newton and Clara Ethel (Jetton) Smith on Monday, March 9, 1931. Bobbie had always been a hard worker, she retired after over 30 years of service working as a grill manager at K-Mart, only to go back to work a month later in an Irving ISD cafeteria.

She was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister and friend to many, who will be deeply missed. She is preceded in death by both parents, husband Willard Robins, twelve brothers and sisters and great grandchild Amber. Left to cherish her memory are son David Robins; daughter Linda Gates and husband Curtis; sister Janice Moreland; sister Louise Feazell and husband Charlie; grandchildren Scott Gates, Bryan Gates and Jenifer Moreno and husband Marco; great grandchildren Wyatt Weldon and Claire Gates, along with numerous nieces, nephews and extended family and beloved friends.

The family will receive friends between 6:00 and 8:00pm, Thursday, September 13, 2018 at Brown’s Memorial Funeral Home, 707 N. MacArthur Blvd. in Irving. A funeral service will be held 10:00am, Friday, September 14, 2018, also at the funeral home with an interment at Bluebonnet Hill Memorial Park immediately following.
