Obituary for Susan Louise Bobbitt (Stover) Susan “Susie” Bobbitt, age 77 died on Saturday, October 27, 2018. Susie was born on November 19, 1940 in Albuquerque, New Mexico to James Irving Powell and Bertha Powell. Susie was a loving mother and wife having been married for 57 years to Bill Dean Bobbitt.

She was a big supporter of police and veterans, especially Navy vets. She loved to travel and go antiquing and anything New Mexico and Southwest always caught her attention. Susie was very talented with jewelry, both buying and selling.

She collected cookbooks, loved animals, and at one point raised rabbits. Susie is preceded in death by her parents; sister Debbie Estes; and husband. Left to cherish her memory are children James Bobbitt; sister Bobbie Costellano; grandchildren May Rae Bobbitt and Finley Bobbitt; as well as many other extended family and loving friends.

A memorial service will be held one year from now on Sunday, October 27, 2019 at 6:00 PM at the family home, 909 Appletree Court Irving, TX 75061.
