Obituary for Frances King (Phelps) Frances Jessup King, age 94 died on Wednesday, October 3, 2018. Frances was born on August 20, 1924 in Dallas, Texas to Charles Phelps and Lela (Harris) Phelps. Frances was a loving mother, grandmother, and great grandmother.

She loved to listen to gospel music and the Word of God, as well as just spending time reading her bible. She cherished time spent with her family, especially her grandkids. Frances is preceded in death by her parents; first husband Emil Pokladnik Jr.; second husband William R. Jessup; third husband Cecil Edward King; daughters Linda K. Wright and Marsha Argo; brothers Charles and Ed Phelps.

Left to cherish her memory are sons Daryl Pokladnik and wife Judy and Dwain Pokladnik; daughters Debi Pearson, Sandy Farrell and husband Raymond, and Donna Mumma and husband George, nineteen grandkids, and several great grandkids; as well as numerous extended family and loving friends. A graveside service will be held 2:00 PM on Monday, October 8, 2018 at Oak Grove Memorial Gardens, 1413 E. Irving Blvd. , Irving, TX 75060.
