Obituary for “Rocky” Maxie Clifton Martin Maxie C “Rocky” Martin, age 90, passed on Friday, November 23, 2018. Rocky was born on July 17, 1928 in Tishomingo, Oklahoma to Oscar Martin and Gertrude (Grider) Martin. Rocky was a loving father, grandfather and great grandfather who loved spending time with family, retired co-workers and his friends.

Rocky played pool, loved hunting and on occasion enjoyed a good Cigar, as well as playing country music on his guitar and harmonica. Rocky is preceded in death by wife Mary Martin, parents, daughter Ryvonn Dudgeon, six brothers and sisters. Left to cherish his memory are son Danny Martin; daughters Debra Klutts, Karen Wichman and husband Jeff; grandchildren Chris Dudgeon, Rickey Dudgeon, Dana Martin, Brandon Wichman, Amanda Wichman, Kelsey Klutts; great grandchildren Gavyn Dudgeon, Ethan Dudgeon, Ashton Dudgeon, Pazleigh Blackmon, Presleigh Blackmon; as well as numerous other extended family and loving friends.

The family will receive friends from 6:00pm – 8:00pm on Wednesday, November 28, 2018 at Brown’s Memorial Funeral Home, 707 North MacArthur Blvd. , Irving, TX 75061. A graveside service will be held at 12:30pm on Thursday, November 29, 2018 at Wilson Chapel Cemetery, 2135 Chapel Lane McKinney, TX 75069.
