Obituary for Sharon Kay White (Zinn) Sharon Kay White, age 73 died on Friday, November 9, 2018. Sharon was born on February 16, 1945 in Dallas, Texas to Jack Davis Zinn and Bernice Dean (Barrett) Zinn. Sharon was a simple woman, who loved her family and serving others.

She loved tulips, roses and beautiful colors. She had a special calling on her life to take care of children. She owned her own childcare business from 1972 until 1990.

She loved spending time with family, especially her grandchildren. Sharon is preceded in death by her parents and husband Edgar Ray White. Left to cherish her memory are daughters Linda Kay Werla, Mary Elizabeth Edwards; son in law Steven Edwards; grandchildren Jacob Werla, Luke Werla, Allie Edwards, Gabby Edwards; sisters Beverly Koehler, Norma Schumacher and spouse Loren, Jackie Barnes and spouse Don, Diane Paulsen; as well as numerous other extended family and loving friends.

The family will receive friends from 1:00pm – 2:00pm on Tuesday, November 13, 2018 at Brown’s Memorial Funeral Home, 707 North MacArthur Blvd. , Irving, TX 75061. A funeral service will follow at 2:00pm at the funeral home with an interment immediately following at Oak Grove Memorial Gardens, 1413 E. Irving Blvd.
