Obituary for Dan E. Ford Dan E. Ford, age 80 and lifelong Christian, awoke in Heaven on Saturday, December 22, 2018. He was born in Hooks, Texas to Ernest Theodore and Willie Mae (Watson) Ford on Friday, September 30, 1938. Dan worked for the City of Irving, where he retired after 31 years of service.

In his younger years he trained horses and as he got older, he enjoyed woodworking, fishing and listening to old country music. He will forever be remembered for the love he had for his family and friends, especially his grand kids. He is preceded in death by his parents Ernest and Willie Mae, 3 brothers and 2 sisters.
