Obituary for Bob Spinks Bob Spinks, age 91, entered Heavens Gate on Sunday, December 9, 2018. He was born in Breckenridge, Texas to Robert Lee Sr. and Maude Mae (Haley) Spinks on Saturday, November 12, 1927. Bob was well love and will forever be remembered for his jovial, happy and caring ways who loved family, especially his grandkids.

He was a lover of all animals, served honorably in the United States Army, was an avid golfer until his 80’s, was a lifelong Baptist, enjoyed fishing and going out on his fishing boat. He has a close place in his heart for all his children but made the decision to choose Mike and Donna as his kids before his marriage to his first wife Jo. He is preceded in death by his wife of over 10 years Jo Spinks, his second wife of over 15 years Wanda Martin- Sprinks, parents Robert and Maude, sisters Ruby Lee Barnett, Jiggs James, Lena Mashburn, Patsy Wagner and Alta Lynch.

Left to cherish his memory is daughter Donna Freestone and husband Ronnie; son Michael Spinks and wife Patty; son Larry Martin and wife Debbie; son Kurt Martin; 10 grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren; 4 great great grandchildren along with numerous extended family and loving friends. A graveside service with Military Honors will be held Saturday, December 22, 2018 at Grove Hill Memorial Park, 3920 Samuell Blvd. in Dallas.
