Joseph Edward Rodriguez January 18, 1963 – January 22, 2019 Our beloved brother, Joseph Edward Rodriguez, was called by the Lord on January 22, 2019 at a young age of 56. Eddie had a youthful, loving and caring spirit. He enjoyed camping and fishing; we’ll always remember him for knowing where the “fishies” were hiding.

During family gatherings, he enjoyed being at the grill and one of his specialties was making menudo. He loved his relatives, aunts, uncles, and cousins, but you did not have to be related for him to make you feel like family. He spent the last few years of his life caring for his mother and always put others before himself.

His journey in this life was not an easy one, but he never lost his faith. You will be missed dearly; words cannot express the emptiness we feel in our hearts. He is survived by his parents, Enrique Sr. and Librada Rodriguez; daughter, Stephanie Rodriguez; brother, Enrique Rodriguez Jr. (Lucy); sister, Rose Marie Padilla (Joe); nephews, Enrique Rodriguez III (Celina), Robert Rodriguez (Jessica); nieces, Jessica Rodriguez, April Rodriguez (goddaughter), Alexis Padilla, and goddaughter, Vanessa Millan.

Those close to his heart were his cousins, Michael, David and Chris Escarsega. Visitation: Monday, January 28, 2019 from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. with Rosary at 7:00 p.m. at Mt. Carmel Funeral Home.

Funeral Mass: Tuesday, January 29, 2019 at 9:30 a.m. at San Antonio Catholic Church. The family would like to express thanks to the UMC ICU team.
