Obituary for Clair Roark (Allen) Clair Roark, age 71 died on Tuesday, October 23, 2018. Clair was born on September 30, 1947 in Denton, Texas to Luther Allen and Lala (Hayes) Allen. Clair was a pet lover of all kinds, especially horses.

A special lady they called “Teach” came into Clair’s life at a young age, investing in her in many different ways, and taught Clair to ride horses on the weekends. Clair was a fashionista who loved a good shopping trip and a new pair of shoes. She was always very generous towards her family and had a caring and big heart.

She also enjoyed the simple beauty of flowers. Clair is preceded in death by her parents and aunt Janette Ottman. Left to cherish her memory are daughter Cindy Higgs of Irving; son Scott Higgs of Houston; brother Don Allen of Irving; grandchildren Justin Wyatt and wife Lora of Irving and Jennifer Martin and husband Matthew of Hutchins; great grandchildren Naomi Martin, Seth Martin and Abaigeil Wyatt.
