Obituary for Kenneth Walker Kenneth Walker, age 78 died on Friday, November 9, 2018. Kenneth was born on July 18, 1940 in Dallas, Texas to Vernon Walker and Ruby (Herbst) Walker. Kenneth was a loving father, brother, grandfather and great grandfather.

He was a true sportsman; he loved hunting, fishing, baseball and football. His favorite teams were the Texas Rangers and the Dallas Cowboys. Kenneth honorably served in the United States Coast Guard.

He spent his working career in construction as an excavator. Kenneth was loved by many and loved many. He was a simple man who enjoyed life.

Kenneth is preceded in death by his parents, wife Carolyn Walker (2010) and brother in law Terry Vaughan. Left to cherish his memory are daughters Kim Horn and husband Jim, Mitzi Owens and husband Mark, Lisa Kennedy and husband Ryan; sisters Shirley Vaughan, Peggy Sanders, Pam Baker and husband Ron; brothers Gene Walker, Larry Walker; grandchildren Samantha Horne and husband Jeremiah, Dillon Horn and wife Lauren, Lauren Smith and husband Roy Bob, Emily Owens, Madison Owens, Kater, Kennah, Karlee, and Karyss Kennedy; great grandchildren Mason, Jake, Brayden, Lee, Berkleigh; as well as numerous other extended family and loving friends. The family will receive friends from 6:00pm – 8:00pm on Tuesday, November 13, 2018 at Brown’s Memorial Funeral Home, 707 North MacArthur Blvd.

, Irving, Texas. A funeral service will be held at 10:00am on Wednesday, November 14, 2018 at Oak View Baptist Church, 1004 S Story Rd, Irving, TX 75060. An interment will immediately follow at Oak Grove Memorial Gardens, 1413 E. Irving Blvd.
