Obituary for Mary R. Jones (Bonner) Mary R. Jones, Age 81, entered Heaven’s Gate on Monday, November 12, 2018. She was born in Dallas, Texas to Otis Henry and Sara Kathryn (Laxson) Bonner on Tuesday, June 29, 1937. Mary was a loving and giving person, working as a volunteer at Irving Cares for many years.

She will be remembered for her devotion to her family, the love and care she showed especially to her grandkids, never missing a birthday or a holiday. Mary is reunited in Heaven with her parents Otis and Sarah, her husband of 52 years, Jimmy Jones, grandson Tyler Wayne, and brothers J.W. and Jerry Bonner. Left to cherish her memory are son Steven Jones and wife Tracy; daughter Laura Gautreau and husband Steve; grandson Daniel Smith and wife Michelle; granddaughter Chelsea Hampton and husband Foster; granddaughter Casey Price; granddaughter Allison Jones; brother Don Bonner & wife Gustina; brother Lee Bonner and wife Joyce; brother Michael and wife Shirley; sister Patricia Byers; sister Linda Darr; sister Sharon Koehler; sister Pamela Boyles and husband Jack; 3 great grandchildren along with numerous extended family and many loving friends.

The family will receive friends between 6:00 and 8:00pm, Wednesday, November 14, 2018 at Brown’s Memorial Funeral Home, 707 N. MacArthur Blvd in Irving. A graveside service will be held 10:00am, Thursday, November 15, 2018 at Fort Worth National Cemetery, 2000 Mtn Creek Pkwy in Dallas. The family request memorial donations to the American Cancer Society, in Mary’s honor, donations or a note of condolence can be left for the family by going to our website at www.
