Obituary for Keri Lugge (Slattum) Keri Lugge, age 56 died on Wednesday, November 21, 2018. Keri was born on Sunday, December 17, 1961 in Tacoma, Washington to Donald Carl Slattum and Geraldee Ann (Dubail) Slattum. Keri was a devout and life-long Christian attending Cornerstone Church in Irving for eighteen years.

She endeavored to live out her faith by helping anyone she came across in need. She had a deep affection for animals in need, giving both of her time and finances to make sure they were taken care of. She spent several years volunteering with a Pug and French Bull dog rescue in the Dallas area.

Keri was into Pirates and sea life as well, having a true passion for all of God’s creatures. Keri was an avid reader of all genres. She was always smiling, had an infectious laugh and was honest to a fault.

Keri spent some time as a Navy Wife and knew the importance of standing alongside other wives in this position, becoming a member of the Ombudsman program for Navy wives. Keri loved her family and would do anything for them, especially her nieces. Keri is preceded in death by her father, grandparents Ruth C. and James Dubail, Elsie and Julius Slattum, and Uncle Gerald Slattum.

Left to cherish her memory are mother Jeri Slattum; brother Jim Slattum and wife Susan; sister Kristenee Slattum, Nieces Tiffany Tuffin and husband Jake, Corinne Capitano and husband Tyler, Jamie Slattum, Natasha Boswell and husband Robert; great nieces and nephews Sara Boswell, Evan Boswell, Samuel Boswell; beloved puppy Yoda; as well as numerous extended family and loving friends. A memorial service will be held at 2:00pm on Friday, November 30, 2018 at Cornerstone Church, 115 S. MacArthur Blvd. , Irving, TX 75060.
