Obituary for Karen Williamson Karen Paris Williamson, age 63, passed away Sunday, September 2, 2018. She was born in Dallas, Texas to Walter W. and Juanita Louise (Wilson) Paris on Thursday, November 11, 1954. Karen spent her childhood growing up as a member of Plymouth Park Baptist Church.

She spent most of her working years as a legal secretary, until she found her passion in midwifing. Karen assisted in birthing well over 100 infants during this time. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother who enjoyed spending time with her family and grandchildren.

Karen is preceded in death by her parents and sister Carolyn Paris. Left to cherish her memory are husband Ben Williamson; daughter Kimberley Perryman and spouse Chris; daughter Carrie Edgmon and spouse Chris; daughter Kelly Laney and spouse Chris; grandchildren Preston Odette, Cole Odette, Madeline Smith, Jace Edgmon, Cole Edgmon, Parker Odette, Bethany Perryman, Cooper Edgmon, Carys Edgmon, Paris Laney and Porter Laney along with numerous extended family and friends. A graveside service will be held 10:00 am, Thursday, September 6, 2018 at Oak Grove Memorial Gardens, 1413 E. Irving Blvd.
