Obituary for Tim DeWeese Tim DeWeese, age 75, passed on Monday, September 10, 2018. He was born in Wamego, Kansas to David and Cleta (Tanner) DeWeese on Tuesday, July 6, 1943. Tim proudly served his country during the Vietnam Era, where he served as a Sonar Tech in the U.S. Navy.

Tim was the recipient of several service awards, throughout his time of service, receiving an honorable discharge in 1969. He will be remembered for his fondness of sailing and traveling, and the joy he had when at the beach or in the water; as well as his enjoyment of good food, good wine and great cigars. Tim was a loving husband, father, brother, grandfather, great grandfather and friend to many, and will be deeply missed.

He is preceded in death by both parents and brother Terry DeWeese. Left to cherish his memory is his devoted and loving wife of 24 years, Allison King; son Tim DeWeese Jr.; daughter Michelle Penny and husband Kevin; brother Don DeWeese and wife Kathleen; brother Jerry DeWeese and wife Holly; sister Barbara Asbury; 3 grandchildren; 1 great grandson; his beloved cat Twiggy along with numerous extended family and caring friends. The family requests, in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the Church of The Apostles at churchoftheapostles.net/ or to any charity of your choice.
