Obituary of Joe Binkley Joseph “Joe” Binkley, 61, passed away December 18, 2018. A gathering of Family and Friends will be 2:00 – 4:00 PM Saturday December 29, 2018 with a time of Prayer and Remembrance with Preacher Robert Steagall officiating at The Jefferson House next to Pierce-Jefferson Funeral Service. Joe was born March 3, 1957 in Forsyth County to the late Donald and Fayrene Binkley.

One of Joe’s dearest friends, John Dotson, introduced him to his favorite job, Climbing Cellular Communications Towers. Joe was a hard worker that had trouble staying still. Joe had a free spirit that allowed him to live by his own rules.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a brother, Gary Eugene Wood. Survivors include; sisters, Donna Bolen and Ray, Beth Huggins and David, and Marigaye Binkley and Kenny Brown; brother, Samuel Binkley; dear friends, John and Angie Dotson, Lil Johnny Dotson, and Robert Dotson; and many extended family and friends.
