John A. “Hoss” Leskovic, 64, of Cheswick, passed away at Canterbury Place on Saturday May 19, 2018. He was born on May 15, 1954 to his parents, father; Thomas Leskovic Sr. and his mother; the late Rose Gladowski Leskovic and was a lifelong resident of the community. John graduated from Springdale High School in 1972 and worked as an operating engineer for the Falino Construction Company.
Hoss enjoyed hunting, fishing and working on vehicles in his spare time. He was a big Pittsburgh Steeler fan, always watching them with his faithful dogs. Surviving him are: Loving wife of 23 years Deborah Miller Leskovic Daughter Molly (Greta Smith) Leskovic of Harwick Stepsons Robert (Jennifer) Layhew of Springdale Keith (Elaine) Miller of Cheswick Shawn Layhew of West Mifflin Brothers Tom (Carrie) Leskovic Jr. of Cheswick Timothy Leskovic of Carnegie Joseph (Amy) Leskovic of Rural Valley Aunt Henrietta “Honey” Eaton of Springdale Sister-in-law Diane Leskovic Two grandchildren Brayden and Brynn Lawhew As well as numerous nieces and nephews Besides his mother, he was also preceded in death by a brother James Leskovic.
Friends will be received on Monday May 21st from 3pm until time of blessing services at 6:30pm in THE CHARLES B. JARVIE CHESWICK FUNERAL HOME INC. 1607 Pgh. St. Burial will be private.
