Sean C. Leda, 54, of New Kensington, died Tuesday, June 12, 2018, at home. He was born September 15, 1963, to the late Walter and Darlene Doutt Leda. Mr. Leda was a member of St. Mary of Czestochowa Roman Catholic Church of New Kensington, and was employed by Swift Trucking Company for 18 years as a truck driver.

More recently, he was a truck driver for Martin Transport for the past two years. Sean loved to collect sports memorabilia, and was a big fan of the Pittsburgh Pirates, Steelers and Penguins. He was known to have a green thumb with a beautiful garden in his yard.

Survivors include his wife, Valerie M. Shaffer Leda; son, Zachary Leda (Fiance, Kathryn Dovensky); brother Todd Leda of Orlando, FL, and sister Susan Wilder of Melbourne, FL. Visitation will be Thursday, June 14 from 2-4 & 6-8PM in ROSS G. WALKER FUNERAL HOME LTD, 217 Freeport Road, New Kensington, where prayers of transfer will be held Friday at 9:30 am, followed by a funeral Mass, at 10:00 a.m. in St. Mary Church. Burial will be private.
