John C. Demmers age 84 of Sayville on June 9, 2018. Beloved husband of the late Joan. Loving father of Karen (John) Milletich and Donna Gillespie.

Cherished grandfather of Alexis, Adrienne and Leah and great-grandfather of 3. John was a proud Navy veteran, a Postmaster at the U.S.P.S. in West Sayville and Sayville and a bus driver for the Fire Island School District.

Visitation will be on Monday June 11th from 2-4:30 and 7-9:30 p.m. at the Raynor & D’Andrea Funeral Home 245 Montauk Hwy West Sayville, NY 11796. Family will gather on Tuesday June 12th at 10:00 a.m. at the funeral home. Interment to follow at St. Lawrence cemetery in Sayville.
