John’s Obituary John Crosby Saffle, 79, of Cross Roads, TX, passed away with his loving family by his side Thursday, March 21, 2019 in Cross Roads, TX. He was born March 2, 1940 in Pembroke, GA to Elton A. and Dorothy (Crosby) Saffle. John married Mary Dandino on August 5, 1961 in Rome, NY.

John is a retired United States Air Force major after serving for more that twenty years. John is survived by his wife, Mary of Cross Roads, TX; two daughters, Doreen Saffle and Beth Saffle both of Cross Roads, TX; five grandchildren, Zach Woods of Sterling, VA, Kevin Rahoi and wife Gabby of Fort Worth, TX, Austin Woods of Cross Roads, TX, Micah Wilson and husband Spencer of Frisco, TX, and Tanner Rahoi of Lubbock, TX; sister, Diane Cooper and husband Brady of Rockwall, TX. He was preceded in death by his parents, Elton and Dorothy; and brother, Dwaine Saffle.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00AM, Thursday, March 28, 2019 at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church in Pilot Point, TX with Fr. John Martin officiating. Interment will follow at 1:15PM in Dallas, TX at Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery.
